Verizon Fios has for the first time integrated Netflix into its set-top boxes, according to a Netflix customer support page first spotted this week by industry blog FierceCable. The addition, which is supported by models IPC1100P2, IPC1100P1, and the VMS1100 DVR set-top box, means Fios customers now have native access to the streaming TV service from directly within the cable interface, obviating the need to use a smart TV’s built-in app with a different remote, or to have a streaming TV stick plugged in.
