Xbox One‘s backwards compatibility catalog continues to grow. Two more Xbox 360 games, Peggle 2 and Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death, were added to the library today. As usual, the announcement came from Microsoft’s Major Nelson on Twitter.
Both are digital-only Xbox Live Arcade titles, so if you bought them on Xbox 360 they should show up automagically in your Xbox One game library in the Ready to Install menu. Alternatively, you can download them from Xbox.com with these links (
Peggle 2, Marlow Briggs) or directly on your console. One thing to consider here is that Peggle 2 already has a native Xbox One edition.
The addition of these two games follows four games from last week,
including Persona 4 Arena, Cars: Mater-National Championship, Jewel Quest, and Tecmo Bowl Throwback. In addition to Xbox One, the backwards-compatible Xbox 360 games play on Xbox One X.
Additionally, Xbox One backwards compatibility
now also includes original Xbox games, but the library of those titles is far more limited. You can check out our full list to see all of the Xbox One backwards compatible games.

Xbox One‘s backwards compatibility library grows today with two additional titles. As announced by Microsoft’s Major Nelson on Twitter, today’s additions to the growing catalog of Xbox 360 titles that play on Xbox One include Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon and F1 2014.
If you already own either of these, they should show up automatically in your Xbox One game library. If not, you can buy them through your Xbox One or via the Xbox Store links below.
In other backwards compatibility news, Microsoft announced at E3 that Original Xbox games are coming to the catalog later this year. However,
the lineup of titles may not be as extensive.
We also recently learned that four Halo games–
including Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo 4, and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary–are coming to the backwards compatibility program.
There are more than 385 Xbox 360 games in the Xbox One backwards compatibility catalog–
you can see them all here.
